MOBI has built a great online ordering system, however it has a heavy reliance on its ability to sync to the restaurant POS. The reliance on client POS systems means that menus don’t display perfectly out of the box. One of the issues present for end users is the friction of trying to use and manage nested products.
The Goal of this project was to address this issue and ensure a more usable flow for users who engage in our Sub-Products solution.
Pain Points
#1
Repeatedly toggling the modal for the same modifier multiple times until the required selections is reached.
#2
If the required modifier selection is skipped and a reminder is automatic redirection. It may cause confusion.
#3
Hard to present numerous modifiers within a single group, leading to extended scrolling
#4
The client desires customers to have the capability to individually choose from a lot of modifiers.
This updated version prioritises efficient use of screen space, curbing the need for lengthy scrolling. The introduction of a clearly nested hierarchy aids users in comprehending their progress within the menu-building stage. We also have refined the summary descriptions to include pricing and relevant information before users proceed to the checkout stage. These enhancements are designed to minimise user friction, fostering a smoother journey while concurrently bolstering revenue for our primary users.
